All seminars on
Stone Restoration/Refinishing are three-days in length at a cost of
$800.00. Classes will never exceed ten (10) students. Due to such
limited number, if a company wants to participate with more than one
person there will be no discount for any such additional person. All
payments must be made in full at the time of booking. Payments are
refundable only at the sole discretion of The Stone Doctor,
providing that cancellation notice is given at least 30 days prior
to the date set for the chosen seminar. However, it is the
predominant policy of The Stone Doctor, as well as Mr. Bertoli to
give credit of the paid price toward a future seminar, rather than
considering a monetary refund. In case of refund, a $25.00 fee for
each person will be deducted from the amount paid. Should one of the
classes be cancelled or postponed, participants will be given the
choice of either a new date, or a full refund of the price paid. The
price for the seminar includes lunch only, for each day of the
course. All traveling, food and lodging expenses shall be borne by
the students. Special arrangements may have been made by The Stone
Doctor with local hotels and/or restaurants on the occasion of each.
NOTE: seminar, may include
shuttle service to and from the training facilities, and/or the
airport. You may want to inquire with us about such possibilities

Dispensing advice and
selling specialty maintenance products is quite important, but it’s only
part of the whole picture. Advice and products can not be dissociated by
mechanical intervention. Without the latter, the two former factors
would end up in the hands of people who wouldn’t know what to do with
them! Let’s make un thing clear: stone restoration/refinishing
represents the very pinnacle of all activities related to stone, because
is the one that requires the utmost professionalism and in-depth
knowledge of the subject. It makes sense. Even if the word “maintenance”
brings to most people minds the picture of a menial activity that
belongs to the very bottom of the social ladder, in the stone industry
it assumes a totally different meaning. Think for a minute: it doesn’t
take two geniuses to make a human body, for even two illiterate can make
passionate love. It takes a Doctor to take care of that human body,
however! Doctors, in fact, are in the maintenance business, but nobody
thinks of them as pariahs!

Maurizio Bertoli only
teaches tried end proven restoration methods that put the soundness of
the stone first. In most cases Maurizio’s approaches to restoring and
